Thanksgiving Gratitude: Entrepreneurs, Family, and the American Dream

This Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting deeply on the many blessings that have shaped my journey, my work, and my passions. Among these, I am profoundly thankful for the spirit of entrepreneurship that runs like a vibrant current through the heart of our communities and our country. To every entrepreneur, business owner, restaurant operator, and franchisee who has blazed a trail, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. You are the dreamers and doers, the risk-takers and innovators, and the cornerstones of your communities. Together, you form the foundation of our economy and exemplify the limitless possibilities of the American Dream.

I am equally grateful for those who support and empower entrepreneurs, providing the tools, resources, and guidance that enable them to navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Through your dedication, entrepreneurship continues to evolve and thrive, paving the way for the next generation of visionaries.

This gratitude extends to our military—both current members and veterans—and their families. Without their steadfast commitment and sacrifice, the freedoms we cherish, including the ability to pursue our entrepreneurial ambitions, would not be possible. Their bravery safeguards the opportunities we so often take for granted, ensuring that we can dream, create, and build freely.

I am also deeply thankful for the people who have played integral roles in my own entrepreneurial journey. My business partner, Erik Premont, stands alongside me in our shared vision, and together we’ve had the privilege of serving incredible clients who trust us to bring their goals to life. Their collaboration and faith inspire me daily.

Finally, and most importantly, I am forever grateful for my family. My wife, Laureen, who has stood by my side for 47 years, has been my unwavering rock, offering support, encouragement, and, yes, patience as I pursued my ambitions. My wonderful children have been a constant source of pride and inspiration, cheering me on through thick and thin. And my awesome grandchildren—they keep my fire burning. Their boundless energy, creativity, and curiosity remind me daily of why I strive to build a better future. Watching their imaginations at work fills me with hope and renews my passion for creating opportunities that will serve them and their generation.

This Thanksgiving, I am reminded that the entrepreneurial spirit is not just about building businesses—it’s about building lives, communities, and legacies. To all who have contributed to that spirit, in any capacity, I say thank you. Your efforts make a difference, and your impact is immeasurable.

Wishing you all a joyful Thanksgiving filled with gratitude, reflection, and hope for the future. Thank you for everything you do.

Make today a great day. Make it happen. Make it count!
